When I was
young, my mother had always encouraged me to further develop my creative side.
Her faith in my ability gave me the freedom to imagine, and I would paint or
sketch my thoughts onto a canvas so that I could show the part of myself,
which is less apparent to the eye. I feel compelled to explore, and somehow
display the invisible beauty that we have within--this is why I became an
artist.
Although
I may have outgrown the years of adolescence, the inner process of my
creativity has remained the same. However, over the years my
inspiration has led me to new challenges, as many of the paintings in my
collection portray the contrast between the creations of nature, as
opposed to the ones of technology -- the natural lights and colors and how
they are extended by innovation. My work is a reflection of the
patterns, the colors and the imagery that form my perception, or inner
canvas.
